The Visual Content Producer helps tell the UWM story by creating videos, images, photo slideshows, and other visuals that appeal to prospective and current students, parents, influencers, and additional audiences. This individual works with colleagues in the Division of Marketing & Communications (MarComm) to develop and systematically archive channel-appropriate content that maximizes the benefit of the university's in-person events and digital platforms.
The Visual Content Producer must have the ability to drive or secure transportation to and from video and photo shoots as required – primarily in Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin.

Marketing and Communications
$58,000-$62,000 (Final salary offer will be determined based on qualifications and experience)
Demonstrated excellence in shooting and editing video
Demonstrated proficiency in using Adobe Premiere (or an equivalent software program) for video editing
Demonstrated excellence in producing photos on location and in the studio
Demonstrated proficiency in using Photoshop (or an equivalent software program)
Bachelor's degree in Film, Photography, Journalism, Communications, Art, or another related field
Two years of professional videography and/or photography experience
Demonstrated ability in project management, scheduling, and organizational skills
Experience working with cinema cameras and color grading footage
Experience using camera movement equipment such as sliders, gimbals, etc.
Demonstrated experience with lighting
Demonstrated ability to develop effective videos for marketing, advertising, and social media use
Experience in digital asset management including culling, entering keywords, and project/file organization
Experience with photo software applications such as Bridge and Lightroom
Experience gathering information to write photo captions that meet journalistic standards for quality and style, as recommended by the AP Stylebook
Experience handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in collaborative team environments
