The Specialist, Product Marketing will play a critical role within the Consumer Acquisition & Engagement (CA&E) team, supporting the commercialization and scaling of Marketing Services and related solutions in Brazil. Acting as a bridge between product, commercial, marketing and delivery teams, this role ensures that global, regional and local strategies are effectively translated into strong local go‑to‑market execution.
The ideal candidate combines analytical skills, strong stakeholder management and seeks excellence to help accelerate growth and deliver meaningful value to Mastercard clients and internal teams.
Role
The Consumer Acquisition & Engagement (CA&E) team focuses on products and solutions designed to address dynamic market and client needs in the Brazilian payments industry. We are looking for a Specialist - Product Marketing to support the commercialization and scaling of Marketing Services through related products and solutions in Brazil, acting as a key bridge between product teams, commercial teams, and local stakeholders.
The Product Marketing role is responsible for connecting the product to the market. This role ensures that the right customers understand the product’s value, why it matters to them, and why it wins versus alternatives. Product Marketing translates product strategy into compelling positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market execution that drives adoption, revenue, and customer success.
This role will be responsible for driving go-to-market execution, shaping sales narratives, managing performance tracking, and ensuring operational excellence across commercialization initiatives, while proactively identifying opportunities for scalability and continuous improvement.
The Specialist will operate with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset, combining analytical rigor with strong stakeholder management to translate global, regional and local strategies into impactful local execution through Marketing Services.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive local Marketing Services business and contribute to the localization of go‑to‑market strategies
• Own the end‑to‑end local commercialization cycle, including adaptation, evolution and governance of sales enablers such as sales decks, value proposition, pricing and sales narratives
• Bring product strategies into scalable local solutions, ensuring strong alignment with market needs, commercial priorities and Mastercard objectives
• Act as a key cross‑functional connector across Marketing, Products teams, and Marketing Services team to enable efficient project sales and execution
• Support productization and scaling of new local solutions that can innovate and contribute to business growth
• Conduct product opportunity assessments and contribute to business cases for new initiatives, pilots and product enhancements
• Monitor execution quality of projects involving Marketing Services products, proactively identifying risks, dependencies and optimization opportunities, while supporting the Marketing Services team to succeed
Product Positioning & Messaging
• Define clear, differentiated product positioning and value propositions for target customer segments.
• Develop and maintain core messaging, narratives, and use cases that resonate with customer needs and pain points.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints (website, sales, campaigns, content).
Go‑to‑Market (GTM)
• Develop go‑to‑market strategies for new product launches, feature releases, and enhancements.
• Partner with Product Management to translate roadmap priorities into launch plans and market-ready stories.
• Coordinate cross‑functional execution across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Enablement.
Customer & Market Insight
• Develop deep understanding of customers, buyers, and users, including jobs‑to‑be‑done and decision drivers.
• Conduct and synthesize market research, customer interviews, and feedback loops.
• Monitor competitive landscape, including positioning, pricing, strengths, and weaknesses.
Sales & Partner Enablement
• Create and maintain sales enablement assets (pitch decks, one‑pagers, battlecards, FAQs).
• Enable Sales teams to confidently articulate value, handle objections, and win competitive deals.
• Support strategic deals and customer conversations when deeper product storytelling is needed.
Launch & Adoption Measurement
• Define success metrics for launches (adoption, pipeline impact, revenue influence).
• Analyze performance post‑launch and iterate on messaging, targeting, and enablement.
• Continuously refine positioning based on market response and product evolution.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Administration, Engineering or related fields.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience; experience in financial services, payments or financial institutions is a strong plus.
• Experience in product commercialization, product management, product marketing, project management or marketing services is desirable.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
