The Team
Within the eCommerce team, our mission is to drive a commercially focused strategy with a strong emphasis on product, trading, and business growth to elevate online performance. The Digital Merchandising team serves as the backbone of eCommerce, leading site merchandising, content, and product launches to achieve sales and conversion targets, as well as operational excellence. The team works closely with the broader CK teams to ensure strategic alignment and drive commercial performance. As a key member of the team, this role plays a significant part in the department’s overall success and strategic growth.
The Position
The Specialist Content Strategy at Calvin Klein Europe is responsible for leading the campaign content briefing process within the e-commerce department. You will develop and manage the seasonal onsite go-to-market content strategy and calendar, ensuring alignment across site merchandising and marketing channels. Working closely with the Junior Specialist/Coordinator, you will ensure creative assets and user journeys are briefed accurately, delivered on time, and meet specifications. Using investment, sales, and conversion rate data, you will define content needs and provide strategic input to guide creative development. This role requires high-level coordination across internal teams (e-commerce, marketing, creative) and external partners to ensure seamless execution of seasonal and sale campaigns.
Own and manage the seasonal go-to-market onsite campaign strategy and calendar, aligning with site merchandising and all relevant marketing channels.
Brief content requirements into the Marketing team, supported by data and insights to guide creative development.
Oversee the briefing of site journeys and campaign assets to the in-house copywriter and designer (and UX where relevant), with support from the Junior Specialist/Coordinator, ensuring timely and spec-compliant delivery.
Support and manage the Junior Specialist/Coordinator, providing guidance and overseeing their day-to-day responsibilities.
Project manage strategic and campaign-related briefings, ensuring clear communication and timely execution across teams.
Analyse campaign performance on-site and coordinate post-campaign analysis across teams to gather insights and inform future content strategy.
Manage the relationship with the translation agency, including organizing annual quality reviews and workshops to ensure translated copy reflects the Calvin Klein tone of voice.
Serve as a key liaison across the e-commerce and marketing departments, acting as the central point of contact for campaign content execution.
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in digital content marketing.
Experience in working in the fashion industry or in a creative industry.
Excellent statistical analysis skills and proficiency with data analysis platforms (we use Adobe Analytics and ContentSquare).
Deep knowledge of the e-commerce environment and the role of content in both driving commercial success and acting as a brand window.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Able to drive conversations with internal stakeholders such as designers, CRO, UX, Site-Merchandising and Buying teams.
A master at working under pressure: proven experience in managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders at the same time.
Drives projects forward and solves problems proactively.
A team player, adaptable and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
A strong interest in managing or some level of managerial experience.
