Our growth won't come from ad spend — it'll come from content people actually want to watch. Playables are a brand-new form factor, and whoever finds the short-form format that makes them go viral will own the category. That's this role. As our Social Media and Content Manager, you'll build Astrocade's organic engine from zero: the content style, the posting cadence, the creator network, and the short-form video playbook that lowers our cost of growth and makes "Astrocade" the name people associate with AI-made games. We move fast, we post through the flops, and we let the numbers tell us what's working.
Own our organic short-form operation end-to-end across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube — content strategy, pillars, recurring series, and cadence
Ideate, shoot, and edit yourself on phone-native tools, and build both human-native and AI-generated video
Find video PMF: test relentlessly across gameplay, memes and current events, AI video, and creator-earnings angles until an SFV format breaks out, then scale it
Seed, curate, and spotlight the best user content, and build recognition and incentives (features, shoutouts, leaderboards) that pull players into creating
Recruit creators who fit our audience and run a many-creator seeding motion plus select deeper partnerships — briefs, relationships, deliverables, gifting and paid coordination, and performance tracking
Run comments and DMs as a content surface, listening for sentiment and insight and feeding it back into content and product
Are early in your career (new grad or early-career) and hungry to own a channel end-to-end
Have grown a short-form account — your own or a brand's — to real reach, ideally through SFV
Have genuine algorithm intuition: you can explain why a video works (hook, retention, sound, timing)
Shoot and edit yourself, fast, on phone-native tools
Are comfortable making AI-generated video with emerging tools
Are high-output, scrappy, and self-directed, with no fear of failure — most videos flop early, and you keep testing and posting
Are happy to appear in videos without wanting to become the face of the brand
Have run creator/influencer seeding or UGC programs before
Love games and play, but instinctively build for people who don't call themselves gamers
Are comfortable reading analytics, with some design or motion-graphics chops
Have grown a channel at a young-skewing mobile game, entertainment app, or creator-economy startup
