Job Description

About The Role

Hi, I'm Alan Roth, Senior Director of Product Marketing here at Jane. I just recently joined Jane, and I lead our Product Marketing team. My team focuses on how we position Jane, understand our customers, and support meaningful growth, especially as we expand in the US. This work connects directly to Jane's mission to help the helpers.

This role is focused on Payments and Financial Services a critical and growing area of Jane's product. Our integrated suite of financial products is a critical part of how we help practitioners run their businesses. This role owns the go-to-market strategy for Jane’s portfolio of offerings including Payments, Clinic Financing, Payroll, and an expanding set of tools we're building to serve our practitioners better. We're looking for someone who understands how financial features serve a broader customer workflow, thinks like a business owner, and can translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling value for the practitioners who rely on Jane every day. You'll work closely with the Financial Services product team, our marketing and customer success leadership, and collaborate with other PMMs across the Jane marketing org.

This presents a unique, career defining opportunity to lead the adoption of Fintech in one of the most reputable, fast-growing, and AI-forward software companies serving health and wellness clinics.

What Impact We're Looking for You to Make

  • Own go-to-market strategy and execution for Jane's payments and financial products, starting with Jane Payments and expanding into Jane Capital, Jane Payroll, and future products as we grow to better serve our practitioners.

  • Develop and maintain sharp positioning and messaging for Jane's payments and financial products, translating product capabilities into clear, customer-centric value propositions that drive understanding, adoption, and trust.

  • Lead cross-functional launch programs that improve product adoption, accelerate revenue, and deliver clear, measurable business results.

  • Translate customer and market insights into action, synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to influence product direction, roadmap priorities, and commercial strategy.

  • Build alignment across Product, Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing by communicating strategy, customer insights, and priorities with clarity.

  • Introduce repeatable frameworks that improve how we plan, execute, and measure product marketing initiatives across a growing suite of financial products.

What Experience We Need

  • 5+ years in Product Marketing or a related role, with direct experience marketing payments, billing, or financial products within a SaaS platform.

  • You understand how financial features serve a broader customer workflow — not just as standalone products, but as part of how a business operates day to day.

  • Experience marketing technology-forward or AI-powered features, and comfortable using AI tools in your own workflow to move faster and think sharper.

  • Hands-on experience with pricing and packaging for platform or financial products.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop clear positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for complex products in competitive markets.

  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of owning commercial outcomes, not just launch execution.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists, you don't wait for a playbook, you write one.

  • Experience with healthcare SaaS products is a plus

More About Jane

Jane is a founder-led, high-growth SaaS company born in North Vancouver, British Columbia. We’re now a team of more than 800 people working remotely across Canada, the US, and the UK, united by our mission to help the helpers.

We build the products and tools that thousands of clinics rely on every day to run their businesses, care for their patients, and grow their communities. That level of impact means every person at Jane plays an important role in how we show up for our customers. We’re all responsible for being deeply connected to their needs, obsessed with improving their experience, and proud of the difference our work makes in their day-to-day lives.

Jane is growing fast, and that growth brings exciting challenges that call for adaptability, resilience, learning agility, and humility. We’re proud of what we’ve built and quick to admit what we don’t know yet. We listen, learn, and adjust as we go.

We’re also embracing the possibilities of AI, using it to work smarter, improve our systems, and create even better experiences for our customers and our team.

Our goal isn’t just delivery, it’s delight. We move quickly, communicate openly, and solve real problems together. If you’re energized by ambiguity, motivated by impact, and eager to learn with others, you’ll thrive at Jane.

Compensation & Benefits

At Jane, we’re committed to paying fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth. This role has an annual salary range of $170,900 – $231,200 USD. While that is a large range, it is intentional. It reflects the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence.

Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $191,000 USD. A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is still developing key skills. Salaries above this usually apply to existing team members who have made a significant impact and bring deep Jane-specific knowledge.

We believe in paying for growth. You’ll have regular career development conversations with your manager and your compensation will grow as you gain experience and contribute meaningfully to our mission.

Paying clearly is one of our compensation fundamentals. Watch this short video to learn how our salary bands are set. You’re also encouraged to ask questions about compensation at any point during the interview process.
