Job Description:
The Senior Product Manager, Clinical Content owns the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for one or more product areas within the Clinical Content portfolio. This individual applies strong product management fundamentals — discovery, prioritization, experimentation, and measurable KPIs — to define and execute a roadmap that maximizes customer value and business results. The Senior Product Manager partners closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to bring the roadmap to life, and serves as a subject-matter expert and mentor to other product managers, contributing to the company's broader effort to modernize and scale the product management function around strong technology product management craft. For this role, the portfolio is the company's ambulatory EHR and practice management platform, spanning the clinical documentation, ordering, e-prescribing, scheduling, patient access, and revenue cycle workflows that physician practices and ambulatory organizations depend on daily; the Senior Product Manager therefore pairs strong product craft with domain fluency in ambulatory care delivery and healthcare interoperability.
- Own the product roadmap and backlog for one or more [Clinical Content product areas, from discovery through launch and post-launch iteration.
- Contribute to and help execute the product-led growth (PLG) strategy for the product portfolio, identifying opportunities to expand adoption and usage through the product experience.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and data teams to define and execute the roadmap and backlog, applying strong product management fundamentals (discovery, prioritization, experimentation, and measurable KPIs) to deliver an exceptional end-to-end user experience.
- Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and work with the VP/Director of Product Management and executive leadership to inform the broader strategic plan for business growth, including new product development and build-vs-buy-vs-partner input.
- Maintain a deep, current understanding of prospects, customers, competitors, and partners (their strategic direction, pain points, desired integrations, and buying behavior) to inform product decisions, market positioning, and competitive differentiation.
- Define and track the product metrics that define success for the product area (activation, adoption, expansion revenue, retention, churn, and customer/patient satisfaction) and use them to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate product releases to ensure alignment between product, support, and service operations, and partner with finance, sales, and product marketing on go-to-market messaging, pricing input, and business models that support both sales-assisted and product-led paths to revenue.
- Support business and contractual discussions with partners specific to the market, as needed.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the product line are identified, accurate, and delivered within deadlines, partnering with legal, compliance, and regulatory affairs as needed.
- Establish and maintain a robust product lifecycle management framework, focused on modernizing aged products and building toward a scalable, extensible technology and platform architecture.
- Contribute to forecasting and reporting on revenue, cost, and margin for the product area, and bring the discipline and rigor of sound business judgment to product decisions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Product Managers and Associate Product Managers on strong product management craft (discovery, prioritization, roadmapping, execution), helping them deliver high-quality products within aggressive timelines regardless of subject matter.

Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, biology, engineering, or a related field.
- An MBA, MHA or other advanced business degree is a plus.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in technology/software product management, with a proven ability to own and deliver results for ambulatory EHR and practice management product areas.
- Direct experience owning or contributing to ambulatory EHR and practice management products, with deep familiarity across the clinical and front/back-office workflows they support, including provider documentation, computerized order entry, e-prescribing (eRx/EPCS), clinical decision support, patient scheduling and registration, eligibility, and end-to-end revenue cycle management.
- Healthcare/healthcare IT industry experience, ideally in an Ambulatory or Acute Healthcare environment, is preferred but secondary to demonstrated product management skill.
- Ambulatory clinical and practice-management workflows, including provider documentation, computerized order entry, e-prescribing, clinical decision support, patient scheduling and access, eligibility, and end-to-end revenue cycle management (charge capture, coding, claims, and patient collections). Experience with ambulatory regulatory and quality programs, including ONC Health IT Certification (CEHRT), CMS incentive and quality programs (MIPS/MACRA and Promoting Interoperability), clinical quality measurement (eCQMs), information-blocking compliance, and value-based care and patient-engagement capabilities.
- Experience contributing to the definition, launch, and scaling of AI/ML-powered product capabilities (for example, clinical decision support, predictive and risk analytics, ambient/automated documentation, and generative AI/LLM features), with attention to model performance, clinical validation, and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience partnering with data science and engineering teams to operationalize AI/ML across the model lifecycle (data strategy, model development and evaluation, and production monitoring), including build-vs-buy decisions across foundation models, third-party vendors, and in-house capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability owning a significant product area with clear business impact, including exposure to revenue, cost, and margin considerations, and a track record of bringing complex, multi-stakeholder solutions to market.
- Experience contributing to product-led growth motions (e.g., free trial/freemium, self-serve onboarding, in-product upsell and expansion, usage-based pricing) in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Experience writing business cases, performing market analysis, contributing to go-to-market strategy, and managing backlogs and pricing/packaging input across multiple markets.
- Experience navigating complex, ambiguous business situations and managing multiple stakeholders with diverse priorities (including finance, sales, and engineering) to achieve consensus and drive results.
- Experience in a private equity-owned company preferred, especially in a growth-focused environment.

- General technology product management best practices, product-led growth strategy and metrics, SaaS business models and unit economics, and general business acumen.
- Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concept and Agile development process; Product Lifecycle practices.
- Deep understanding of healthcare technology and a passion for improving patient and provider experiences
- AI and generative AI product fundamentals, including the model lifecycle (data, training, evaluation, and monitoring/MLOps), large language models, and how to translate AI capabilities into differentiated, defensible product value.
- Responsible and trustworthy AI in healthcare, including bias mitigation, transparency and explainability, human-in-the-loop design, data privacy and security (HIPAA), and the evolving regulatory landscape for AI-enabled products
