You will lead a senior product marketing team and partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Analyst Relations, Customer Advocacy, Communications, and executive leadership. You will operate across security and networking domains, helping Cisco tell a broader and more differentiated identity story that connects workforce access, device trust, network access control, segmentation, contextual risk, identity intelligence, and agentic identity.
Cisco Security is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead Identity Security product marketing and go-to-market strategies across Cisco Duo, Identity Services Engine, and Identity Intelligence. This is a senior leadership role passionate about one of the most meaningful control points in modern cybersecurity: understanding who and what is accessing the enterprise, whether that access should be trusted, and how identity, device, network, and behavioral context can be used to reduce risk. Identity is entering a new era. The enterprise no longer needs to secure only human users and managed devices. It must also understand, govern, and protect non-human identities, AI agents, autonomous workflows, service accounts, machine identities, and the rapidly growing set of entities taking action across the business. Cisco is at the forefront of this market. With Duo, ISE, and Identity Intelligence, Cisco has a distinctive opportunity to define identity security for the AI era - connecting workforce access, device trust, network context, identity intelligence, agentic identity, and zero trust enforcement into a broader security architecture. This is an especially compelling opportunity for a leader with a product management, product strategy, technical marketing, or product marketing background. You will use your product expertise to shape the GTM system as your product: the positioning, launch strategy, thought leadership, sales plays, programs, and customer proof that drive adoption, revenue, and market leadership.
Bachelors + 17 years of related experience, Masters + 14 years of related experience, or PhD + 10 years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience.
12+ years of experience across product marketing, product management, technical marketing, product strategy, sales engineering, or GTM leadership in enterprise technology.
5+ years of people management experience leading product marketing, product, technical, or GTM teams with a track record of execution and team development.
Experience leading go-to-market strategies for sophisticated enterprise products, platforms, or portfolios.
Demonstrated ability to connect messaging, launch strategy, sales enablement, and marketing execution to measurable business outcomes.
Experience in identity security, access management, MFA, zero trust, network access control, segmentation, cybersecurity, networking, cloud security, endpoint security, AI security, or related markets.
Experience with products or markets adjacent to Duo, ISE, Identity Intelligence, IAM, NAC, SSE, SASE, XDR, or security operations.
Product management or product strategy background, with curiosity about applying product depth to go-to-market strategies and market creation.
Experience building executive-level thought leadership and differentiated category narratives in emerging or fast-changing markets.
Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization and influencing product, sales, marketing, partner, analyst, and executive collaborators.
