The Product Marketing Specialist supports the Product Marketing team in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for TRIMEDX solutions/products. As a trusted partner to Product Management, Development, Marketing Communications, and Commercial teams, this role ensures the development of deeper marketing understanding of customer needs and buying preferences, improved value proposition and messaging, and develops more effective go-to-market initiatives to generate new opportunities’ and improve client retention. This position is part of the Product Marketing team, and will work closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, and other teams across the organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with high-energy who is results driven and committed to enabling other colleagues’ success while driving their own professional growth.
Location: Eastern or Central Time Zone; with close proximity to a major airport. Our Central Office is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Position requires 20% travel to meetings & client hospital sites.

Responsibilities
Product Marketing Support & Planning:
• Supports product marketing activities (e.g. content creation, sales enablement, VOC, market analysis, etc.) required for upstream and downstream marketing efforts.
• Assists with launch of new products and solutions
• Updates approved statistics list and claims matrix to support client facing documents; initiates and manages workflow to garner approvals where necessary.
• Assist with the development of white papers and/or client case studies to highlight the organization’s thought-leadership and success at delivering against client needs, including gathering evidence from proof of concept, beta sites and early adopters.
Market Intel, Research and VOC:
• Understands methods available to execute primary and secondary research necessary to drive portfolio/product decisions and identify market opportunities.
• Participates in market sizing, segmentation and targeting exercises around new Solutions in anticipation of – and preparation for – new Solution commercialization.
• Develops an understanding of customers’ operational and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought, through participation in market research, market analysis and VOC exercises.
• Works with key stakeholders to track and document the evolution of the competitive landscape; facilitates periodic training of competitors for key commercial stakeholders.
Campaign Planning and Communication:
• Collaborates with Marketing Communications and relevant cross-functional team members to develop content plans, including website, blogs, case studies and collateral.
• Assists with the creation of compelling solution messaging and thought leadership content to drive awareness of TRIMEDX’s solutions across marketing channels, such as social media, websites, advertising, and strategic partnership events.
Sales Enablement:
• Assist with the development of sales enablement content and tools intended to communicate the value proposition and economic benefits of our Solutions to the market
• Creates training materials on marketing initiatives for the field and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Management to ensure commercial teams have effective tools, technology and methods to conduct sales demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Product Management and commercial teams to manage competitive intelligence insights and technology to deliver relevant and consistent information to support commercial activities.
• Supports partner and channel enablement content as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
• Experience in Marketing, Product Marketing, Communications or other related discipline is preferred.
• This role consists of travel of up to 20% or approximately 4 business days per month. Travel requirements may fluctuate by 10-15% depending on organizational needs.
• Experience in medical devices and/or the broader healthcare industry, within Clinical Engineering or the Management of Clinical Assets is preferred.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to deduce market needs from key trends within industry or markets.
• Familiarity and comfort functioning in a matrixed organizational environment and the ability to work successfully cross-functionally.
• Ability to think strategically and participate actively in decision analysis, problem formulation, data collection, model development, and presentations to management.
• Strong project management skills including stakeholder management, effective communication, and driving for results
• Well versed with on-the-job training in commercialization planning and product launches preferred.
• Capability to identify, develop and serve all clients to the highest level of satisfaction.
Education and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree or equivalent experience is required.
