Job Description

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by đź‘‹

Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!

Lightspeed is seeking a Product Marketing Manager, Golf to champion Lightspeed Golf and help bring our product investment to market.

In this role, you will co-own, with the Product Marketing Lead, the go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and adoption efforts for Lightspeed Golf. You will work closely with Product, Integrated Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Support, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that product launches and customer programs improve adoption, sales effectiveness, retention, and customer lifetime value.

You will help serve as the connection point between our golf customers, product teams, and go-to-market organization. You will help translate the needs of golf course operators and golfers into compelling product stories, effective enablement, and actionable recommendations for the roadmap.

This role is ideal for a curious, hands-on marketer who enjoys building new processes, working through ambiguity, and turning customer and market insights into measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Co-own positioning and messaging for Lightspeed Golf, including the operator and golfer value propositions across our product ecosystem

  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches, feature enhancements, migrations, and major product announcements

  • Build launch plans that connect product strategy to marketing campaigns, sales enablement, customer communications, and post-launch adoption.

  • Partner with Product to identify customer pain points, improve the golf operator journey, and influence product priorities

  • Develop customer adoption, activation, cross-sell, and expansion programs that increase product usage, retention, and customer lifetime value

  • Help drive payments attach, adoption of revenue-generating products and services, and awareness of new and existing Golf capabilities

  • Establish feedback loops with Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Partnerships to bring customer insights into messaging, campaigns, and the product roadmap

  • Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive research, including interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis, support data, and sales feedback

  • Develop and maintain Golf ICP, persona, segmentation, and customer journey insights

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and translate competitor and market intelligence into positioning, sales guidance, and strategic recommendations

  • Partner with Sales and Enablement to create pitch decks, battlecards, one-pagers, demo tools, launch packs, training, and other materials that improve sales effectiveness

  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing, Content, Design, PR, Events, and Partnerships to develop campaigns and content that create awareness, demand, education, and advocacy

  • Act as a product and industry subject matter expert for marketing, communications, and customer-facing teams

  • Measure and communicate the impact of launches and customer programs across adoption, pipeline, conversion, attach rate, MRR, retention, and other relevant business metrics

  • Establish and improve repeatable product marketing processes for the Golf business

How you’ll know you’re thriving in this role:

  • Product launches are delivered on time with clear goals, positioning, enablement, and post-launch measurement

  • Adoption of priority Golf products and features increases among existing customers

  • Sales teams have the messaging, tools, and proof points needed to sell with confidence

  • Customer and market insights meaningfully influence product and go-to-market decisions

  • Golf marketing programs contribute to improved lead quality, conversion, payments attach, MRR, retention, and customer lifetime value

  • Lightspeed Golf is increasingly recognized as a trusted partner for golf course operators and a platform that helps them simplify operations, maximize revenue, and deliver exceptional experiences

What you need to bring:

  • 2–4 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a comparable go-to-market role, ideally in B2B or B2B2C SaaS

  • Experience developing positioning, messaging, launch plans, sales enablement, and customer marketing programs

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to independently lead work from strategy through execution

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear recommendations

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, or Partnerships teams

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear customer benefits

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, prioritizing competing requests, and building structure where processes are still developing

  • A proactive, analytical, and collaborative working style

  • Curiosity about customer needs and a growth mindset focused on continuous improvement

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in the golf, sports, hospitality, retail, fintech, or B2B SaaS industries

  • A solid understanding of how golf course operators run their businesses, including tee sheets, online booking, payments, point of sale, retail, food and beverage, reporting, and customer engagement

  • Experience marketing products to both business operators and end consumers

  • Experience with product adoption, customer marketing, expansion, or retention programs

  • Interest in or passion for golf, sports, or technology

  • Experience working with account-based marketing, trade events, industry associations, or partner marketing

  • MBA or Product Marketing Alliance certification
