This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Manager, Golf based in Canada. This role will help shape the go-to-market strategy for a technology platform serving golf businesses and their customers. You will own key elements of positioning, messaging, product launches, adoption, and customer marketing programs.
Working closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Support, and Customer Success, you will turn customer insights into measurable business outcomes. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across launches, enablement, campaigns, research, and lifecycle initiatives.
You will act as a bridge between golf operators, product teams, and commercial functions, helping influence both product priorities and market perception. Success will be measured through product adoption, conversion, payments attach, MRR, retention, and customer lifetime value.
The position offers significant autonomy, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to make a visible impact in a growing product organization. \n Accountabilities: Co-own positioning and messaging for the Golf product portfolio, including clear value propositions for business operators and end consumers. Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches, feature enhancements, migrations, and major announcements.
Develop launch plans connecting product strategy with marketing campaigns, sales enablement, customer communications, and post-launch adoption initiatives. Partner with Product teams to identify customer pain points, improve customer journeys, and influence product priorities through actionable insights. Develop programs focused on activation, adoption, cross-sell, expansion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
Drive awareness and adoption of payments and other revenue-generating products and services. Establish feedback loops with Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Partnerships to incorporate customer insights into messaging, campaigns, and roadmap decisions. Conduct market, customer, and competitive research through interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis, support data, and sales feedback.
Develop and maintain ideal customer profiles, personas, segmentation strategies, and customer journey insights. Monitor competitors and market trends, translating intelligence into positioning, sales guidance, and strategic recommendations. Create sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, battlecards, one-pagers, demo tools, launch packs, and training resources.
Collaborate with Content, Design, PR, Events, Integrated Marketing, and Partnerships teams to create awareness, demand, education, and advocacy programs. Serve as a subject matter expert on the product and golf industry for marketing, communications, and customer-facing teams.
Measure and communicate the performance of launches and customer programs using metrics such as adoption, pipeline, conversion, attach rate, MRR, retention, and customer lifetime value. Establish and continuously improve scalable product marketing processes for the Golf business. Requirements 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a comparable go-to-market role, preferably within B2B or B2B2C SaaS.
Proven experience developing product positioning, messaging, launch strategies, sales enablement, and customer marketing programs. Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently manage initiatives from strategy through execution. Demonstrated ability to combine qualitative and quantitative insights and translate them into clear business recommendations.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, and/or Partnerships teams. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling customer benefits. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, prioritize competing demands, and create structure where processes are still evolving.
Proactive, analytical, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset. Strong curiosity about customer needs and a growth mindset centered on experimentation and continuous improvement. Experience in golf, sports, hospitality, retail, fintech, or B2B SaaS is highly valued.
Understanding of golf course operations, including tee sheets, online booking, payments, point of sale, retail, food and beverage, reporting, and customer engagement, is a strong advantage. Experience marketing products to both business operators and end consumers is a plus. Experience with product adoption, customer marketing, expansion, or retention programs is desirable. Interest in or passion for golf, sports, or technology is advantageous.
Experience with account-based marketing, trade events, industry associations, or partner marketing is a plus. An MBA or Product Marketing Alliance certification is considered an advantage. Benefits CAD $90,000–$120,000 expected compensation range for candidates hired to work in Ontario, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and market data.
