About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
About the Role
MuleSoft is at the center of the most consequential shift in enterprise software in a decade: the move from traditional integration to an agentic, AI-native control plane that lets autonomous agents securely act across every system in the enterprise. With MuleSoft Agent Fabric and support for open agent protocols like MCP and A2A, MuleSoft is the connective tissue and integration backbone powering thousands of the world's most demanding enterprises.
We are looking for a Director, Product Marketing to own the technical narrative for MuleSoft. This is not a traditional PMM role. The right person is a technically fluent storyteller who can go from a whiteboard architecture conversation with a Distinguished Engineer to a Dreamforce mainstage keynote without losing depth, nuance, or audience. You will be responsible for the headline narrative, demos, and keynote moments that define how the market understands MuleSoft's role in the agentic enterprise.
Reasons to Join
Impact — Your narrative will be heard by tens of thousands at Connect:AI, Dreamforce, World Tours, analyst events, and customer briefings, and will shape how Fortune 500 customers think about agentic AI and integration.
Category-defining moment — MuleSoft is redefining what "integration" means in a world of autonomous agents. You'll be on the front lines of articulating that.
Technical depth — You'll partner with world-class engineers, architects, and product leaders building Agent Fabric, Anypoint, and the agentic runtime.
Executive visibility — Direct partnership with MuleSoft and Salesforce senior leadership on keynote and narrative.
Broad exposure — Work across product, engineering, design, events, PR, AR, sales, and customer success.
Culture — Salesforce's Ohana culture, with the pace and ambition of one of the most strategic franchises in the portfolio.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the technical narrative and keynote moments for MuleSoft across Connect:AI, Dreamforce, World Tours, TrailblazerDX, Connections, analyst summits, and executive briefings.
Own the end-to-end keynote development process for MuleSoft segments — content, architecture diagrams, demo flow, customer proof, and on-stage delivery support.
Translate complex technical concepts — Agent Fabric, MCP, A2A, API-led connectivity, Omni Gateway, Trusted Agent Identity, Intelligent Document Processing — into crisp, audience-appropriate stories for developers, architects, CIOs, and CEOs alike.
Partner with senior leaders (MuleSoft GM, Salesforce CMO/CPO orgs) to craft executive presentations that reinforce MuleSoft's positioning as the agentic control plane for the enterprise.
Conceive, script, and oversee production of flagship demos that show — not tell — how MuleSoft orchestrates agents, governs APIs, and connects legacy systems to modern AI.
Work hands-on with product, engineering, and demo engineering teams to ensure demos are technically credible, architecturally accurate, and narratively tight.
Develop reference architectures and visual frameworks that become the canonical way the market understands MuleSoft's role in agentic AI.
Partner with Product Management to shape positioning around upcoming releases (Agent Fabric capabilities, MuleSoft Vibes, Agent Broker, new connectors, governance features).
Collaborate with PR, AR, content, design, events, and field marketing to ensure narrative consistency across every surface — keynote, press release, analyst briefing, blog, customer pitch.
Lead without direct authority, driving alignment across product, engineering, marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders with conflicting needs and tight timelines.
Partner with marquee customers to surface and shape stories that prove the agentic integration thesis — co-developing case studies, keynote customer moments, and joint sessions.
Engage directly with industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) to influence category narratives around integration, iPaaS, API management, and agentic AI governance.
Maintain a sharp, current view of the competitive landscape (Boomi, Workato, Informatica, Snaplogic, hyperscaler iPaaS offerings, emerging agent orchestration vendors) and translate it into differentiated positioning.
Author and ghostwrite executive-level POVs, blog posts, bylines, and conference talks that establish MuleSoft leaders as the definitive voices on agentic integration.
Represent MuleSoft externally when needed — on stage, on podcasts, with press, with customers.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, developer relations, solutions engineering, or executive content development in enterprise software — with a meaningful portion in technically deep roles.
Demonstrated ability to read an architecture diagram and improve it, not just present it. Comfort with concepts like APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices, identity and access management, agent protocols, and AI/ML system design is required
Proven track record of developing and delivering mainstage-quality keynote content for Tier 1 events, working directly with C-level or SVP+ executives.
Exceptional storytelling skills, with a portfolio of narratives, demos, or keynote moments you can walk us through.
Strong executive presence; comfortable being the trusted narrative partner to a GM, CPO, or CMO.
Experience producing live technical demos — owning the script, the architecture, the failure modes, and the punchline.
Track record of leading large, ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders and tight, immovable deadlines (events don't move).
Excellent writing skills across formats: keynote scripts, executive briefs, bylines, demo scripts, customer-facing decks.
Proficiency in Apple Keynote, Google Slides, Figma, and modern presentation/design tooling.
Passion for emerging technology — particularly agentic AI, LLM orchestration, integration, and API governance — and a point of view on where the category is going.
Willingness to travel (~25%) to support global event execution.
BS/BA required; technical degree (CS, Engineering) or equivalent technical experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on familiarity with agentic AI frameworks, MCP, A2A, agent orchestration patterns, or experience marketing AI/ML platforms.
Experience in integration, iPaaS, or API management, or data integration product marketing
Prior experience as a developer, solutions architect, sales engineer, or PM that you've since translated into a marketing career.
Experience with developer audiences and technical communities (TrailblazerDX, KubeCon, AWS re:Invent, etc.).
