The Global Director Marketing Communications, Content Strategy & Brand reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and is a key member of the Global Marketing team. Responsible for directing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating marketing communications strategy and programs, including product launches, public relations, external and channel communications, branding, media relations and reputation management, ensuring a strong and credible external presence and a consistent experience across channels.Main Responsibilities:
Oversee best-in-class external marketing and communications campaigns from creative brief to implementation and delivery, ensuring that input is aligned with our strategy, brand, and growth priorities.
Determine the right tactics for each marketing challenge, including content marketing, sales enablement materials, branding guides, infographics, case studies, digital marketing, etc.
Elevate Bracco brand awareness by leveraging a modern mix of tactics including thought leadership, press releases, news stories, editorials, programmatic advertising, organic and paid social media, targeted business events, podcasts, short-form video content, webinars, and HCP-focused digital engagement programs; explore emerging channels and KOL/influencer partnerships relevant to the healthcare and imaging community.
Deliver a Brand voice and maintain Brand integrity across all business platforms and geographies.
Collaborate with product platforms, R&D, and global marketing organizations to create and implement effective communication strategies for new and existing product portfolios;
Improves processes, strategic content planning and coordination with the Global Marketing Organization, geared towards improving and streamlining access to marketing collateral and reaching customers at the right time, in the right place, with the right content.
Is a member of the PARC (Promotional and Advertising Review Committee) and is responsible for reviewing any Core Promotional Material according to the Promotional Material Global Procedure for Medicinal Products.
Champions, together with the Digital Marketing team, the evaluation, adoption, and governance of the Marketing Technology (MarTech) stack including marketing automation, Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, webinars and AI-powered content and analytics tools; partners with IT and digital teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing technologies that scale personalization and operational efficiency.
Events & Exhibits:
Responsible for the organization of main events and exhibits, driving brand consistency across different regional events, and the organization of multimodal and international events.
Develop and evaluate event plans, coordinating with vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution and managing budget and timeline.
Drive communication strategies for the events, such as promotional materials, online and social media presence of the events.
Digital Communication:
Accountable for accelerating an omnichannel digital communication strategy, effective content management across owned, earned, and paid media channels, and successful launch of processes and tools to drive sales and marketing productivity.
Oversee the development and governance of Bracco Imaging’s digital properties including websites, social media channels, and digital content hubs; ensures best-in-class UX, SEO performance, accessibility compliance, and brand consistency across all digital touchpoints; champions the adoption of AI-assisted content creation, personalization engines, and marketing technology to improve engagement and conversion.
Drive continuous performance improvement through the identification, documentation, and implementation of demand creation best practices; establish KPI frameworks and reporting dashboards to measure campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, and marketing ROI across all channels to optimize marketing investment.
Educational Background
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and preferably MBA with a concentration in marketing or healthcare management.
Prior Experience
Must have 8-10 years of marketing experience, preferably in the medical device/pharma industry, including global and regional roles with a proven track record of high performance. Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing is required, including hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms.
Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, audience segmentation, and personalization strategies across digital and non-digital touchpoints.
Demonstrated success leading and supporting cross-functional teams; strong teamwork orientation.
Strategic thinking combined with executional excellence.
Ability to develop insights and recommendations based on rigorous, analytical analysis that drives business function improvement, growth opportunity identification, and/or strategy development.
Ability to both lead and be part of high-performing teams.
