Provides support for clinical and medical staff in the delivery of quality medical care. Assists with patient care as directed by the physician and clinical staff within scope of training. Will also be required to perform other department/unit tasks.
Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of SGNA Associate's Program required in one year of hire.
Experience: Healthcare experience preferred. Previous experience in direct patient care and scope reprocessing preferred.
Licensure, certification: GI Technical Specialist (GTS) required within one year of hire. Flexible Endoscope Reprocess or Certification recommended.
Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required within 60 days of hire.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills required. Must be organized and self-motivated. Satisfactory completion of structured orientation program
