Endoscopy Scope Processing Technician
40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Dayshift
Join our team and play a vital role in patient safety and exceptional care. We are seeking a detail-oriented Endoscopy Scope Processing Technician to ensure endoscopic equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilized, maintained, and ready for clinical use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, inspect, assemble, test, high-level disinfect, and sterilize endoscopic instruments and equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Process and maintain a variety of endoscopes and specialty equipment, including GI, pulmonary, ERCP/EUS, ION, and related instruments.
- Perform leak testing and verify proper function of scopes and patient care equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of equipment, maintenance records, and patient-related data within electronic systems.
- Monitor scope processing, drying, and storage areas to ensure compliance with infection prevention and regulatory standards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked to support efficient daily operations.
- Immediately report equipment concerns, safety issues, or processing discrepancies to leadership.
- Participate in department meetings, annual competencies, and ongoing education.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members as needed.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Must obtain SGNA within 2 years
HSPA/Certified Endoscope Reprocessor certification within 2 years
