What's the role?
Glamour Australia is looking for an Editor to drive the strategic and commercial success of the brand, while overseeing day-to-day editorial operations across all Glamour Australia channels. This role will shape the brand experience across site, social and video, ensuring Glamour continues to engage and grow a Gen Z Australian audience across fashion, beauty, culture, style and shopping.
A hands-on leadership role, the Editor will create and oversee content across multiple platforms, supported by a Multimedia Content Editor, Video & Social Producer and the wider Prestige digital team. You’ll lead the brand voice, drive audience growth, and ensure all content meets Glamour’s editorial standards while balancing audience-first storytelling with commercial objectives.
As the face of the brand, you’ll work closely with editorial, audience and commercial stakeholders, lead client conversations, and contribute to revenue growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is an experienced digital media leader with strong editorial judgement, a deep understanding of social, SEO and emerging platform trends, and a genuine passion for beauty, culture and style content.
Under the guidance of the Editorial Director, Digital Director and the Director of Digital Content, achieve editorial excellence and consistency of brand voice which echoes Glamour’s core values: accessibility, empathy, humour, authority and confidence.
Manage daily social publishing and on-the-tools digital responsibilities, alongside broader brand building and revenue targets.
Edit, upload and publish social media and site content, and lead by example for junior team members and editorial contributors.
Ideate briefs for commercial work and work closely with the News Corp product and sales teams on revenue goals.
Appear in editor-to-camera video or stills as needed, and execute videos end-to-end from ideation to upload.
Use site and social analytics platforms and audience data to inform content ideation.
Experience in e-commerce/GEO or SEO content production is desirable.
Liaise with commercial integration managers, senior digital leadership, external talent and platform specialists to ensure clear communication and efficient delivery of projects.
Identify new and innovative ways to tell stories to our News Prestige readers, via video or audio formats.
