The ideal candidate for this position will be highly self-motivated, a big thinker, a strong team leader who is focused on the quality and measurable results of his/her work. This individual should have demonstrated experience working as a business leader in a cross-border matrix organization with an ability to drive core strategy while simultaneously meeting provincial needs where necessary to ensure successful regional implementation. Candidates must be confident working in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced organization and be able to balance multiple project priorities to meet the demands of our agile Marketing environment. Candidates should ideally have prior medical device or pharmaceutical Marketing experience and should be confident building and presenting strategies and tactics to senior level external and internal audiences. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a long-and short-term marketing strategy to drive sustained product portfolio growth.
Collaborate on product development strategies to ensure continued segment growth over a long-term horizon.
Develop and lead the execution of integrated commercial launch and market development plans in the diabetes technology space including core strategies, tactics, financial objectives, budgets and staffing requirements.
Curate a portfolio of marketing tools to support the needs of the Sales Team.
Analyze market performance against KPI benchmarks and the competitive environment and develop appropriate action.
Manage expenses within budget, maximizing effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop and implement HCP-focused and consumer-focused strategies to ensure the optimal marketing mix and consistent messaging.
Lead, motivate and develop a team of marketing professionals to support exceptional commercial tactical execution and creativity across a matrix organizational structure.
Develop key internal stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth, integrated operation of major projects. Internal stakeholder groups include Regulatory/Quality, R&D, Customer Service, Legal, Market Access and Finance.
Ensure an optimal Sales & Marketing working platform through consistent communication with the sales team and regular field travel.
Maintain and develop KOL relationships to drive product portfolio awareness.
Drive and support the customer Marketing plan with business and strategic insight followed-up by commercial execution.

Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing with 8+ years of related work experience. An MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry marketing experience preferred.
Experience creating and implementing a consumer-focused strategy.
Demonstrated experience leading a function and team within a matrix organization to operate effectively across multiple channels.
Strong experience in healthcare environment.
Experience developing and commercializing new products/line extensions.
Diabetes experience or knowledge preferred.
Experience building, leading, motivating and managing a team.
Experience building and supporting career development pathways to improve the skills of the team.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
Self-starter, quick learner and highly organized.
Ability to influence key decision makers and conduct briefing meetings for senior management.

Compensation & Benefits:
For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $187,100.00 - $280,625.00
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
