Job Description
The Director, Digital Content Strategy leads the development and activation of digital‑first creative strategies that build brand equity and drive business performance aligned with Personal Health Care growth goals.
This role brings senior‑level creative leadership across strategy, production, and optimization—owning creative vision, scalable systems, and ways of working to ensure creative investments work in tight synergy with Brand, Media, Performance Marketing, and PM disciplines. The Director acts as a creative authority and integrator across Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned touchpoints, ensuring creative excellence delivers both brand impact and measurable growth outcomes.
To be successful in this role, we’re looking for a senior leader who can define and drive:
- A clear, enterprise‑ready digital creative strategy tied to business and brand growth goals, anchored in brand equity frameworks.
- Scalable, modular creative systems that balance brand storytelling with performance efficiency across channels and audiences.
- Full‑funnel creative experiences (awareness → conversion → retention) that align message, format, and sequencing across Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned channels.
- A disciplined optimization and testing mindset that uses data to continuously raise creative effectiveness and ROI.
- Strong cross‑functional integration that ensures creative amplifies media performance, reduces redundancy, and improves total plan effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business and brand strategy into clear, compelling creative direction by evolving and stewarding brand creative vision using existing equity frameworks.
- Set and uphold standards for brand voice, visual identity, and creative quality—ensuring consistency while enabling flexibility across channels, audiences, and use cases.
- Serve as a senior creative partner and strategic bridge across Brand, Media, Performance Marketing, and PM disciplines—aligning teams on priorities, trade‑offs, and outcomes.
- Lead digital‑first creative strategy across Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned channels, balancing long‑term brand building with near‑term performance objectives.
- Guide full‑funnel creative strategy—ensuring awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention experiences are cohesive, intentional, and data‑informed.
- Oversee end‑to‑end creative development from concept through execution across campaigns, always‑on production, and priority initiatives.
- Lead and develop internal creative talent and external agency partners—setting direction, elevating craft, and ensuring accountability to standards and timelines.
- Establish scalable creative frameworks, modular asset systems, and efficient workflows to meet high‑volume, high‑velocity output needs.
- Ensure creative execution adheres to brand governance, equity frameworks, and P&G standards.
- Act as a steward of creative quality, effectiveness, and integrity across Personal Health Care.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Digital Design, Design, Advertising, Animation, or related field
- 8+ years experience leading digital‑first creative strategy, brand systems, or integrated marketing creative at scale.
- Proven ability to translate complex business and marketing objectives into strong creative direction and systems.
- Strong understanding of how creative impacts growth, revenue, conversion, and retention—especially in performance‑driven ecosystems.
- Experience managing and developing senior creative talent and agency partners within complex organizations.
- Strong conceptual leadership across digital‑first formats, paired with deep craft awareness (design, copy, motion, UX).
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite of tools, AI Platforms, editing tools
- Deep understanding of brand storytelling, tone of voice, and equity stewardship.
- Excellent creative judgment—knows what “great” looks like and how to lead teams there.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing strategies and the role of creative in driving efficiency and scale.
- Executive‑level communication, influence, and collaboration skills; comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving outcomes at scale.
- Ability to work hybrid work schedule in Cincinnati, OH based office.
