Job Description

Role Purpose

The Marketing Manager will support the execution of Manulife Myanmar's marketing strategy by leading brand management, product marketing initiatives, stakeholder reporting, budget planning, and cross-functional marketing projects. The role will work closely with the CMO and Head of Growth Marketing to drive business growth, strengthen brand presence, and ensure effective management reporting and governance.

Position Responsibilities

Brand Management & Marketing Communications

  • Support the development and execution of brand campaigns and visibility initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all customers, partner, branch, and agency touchpoints.
  • Coordinate branding activities, events, sponsorships, and corporate communications as required.

Product Marketing

  • Lead marketing support for new product launches and existing product campaigns.
  • Develop product positioning, marketing materials, customer propositions, and go-to-market plans.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Distribution, and Digital teams to drive product awareness and sales performance.

Budget Planning & Financial Management

  • Support annual marketing budget planning and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor marketing expenses and budget utilization.
  • Prepare budget reports, forecasts, variance analysis, and management updates.

Stakeholder Reporting & Management

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for SMT, Regional Marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Consolidate marketing performance updates, campaign results, and business insights.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of marketing initiatives and key performance indicators.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with distribution and other functional teams.
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects led by the CMO.
  • Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders where required.

Required Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Master's Degree or professional marketing qualification is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Marketing, Brand Management, Product Marketing, or related fields
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and stakeholder engagement is highly preferred.
  • Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferably from the insurance, banking, financial services, telecommunications, or consumer industries.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, AI and customer experience frameworks is an advantage.
