About the Role:
The incumbent will be responsible for owning brand solutions for Star Jalsha and play a pivotal role in ensuring the revenue targets for the channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive brand solution strategies and sponsorship packages for Star Jalsha’s properties across
- Partner with the Sales team to create compelling pitch decks and present customized content solutions to key clients, media agencies, and brand managers.
- Work closely with the Programming, Creative Communications and Research teams to ensure brand integrations are woven into the formats/ shows, without compromising the viewer experience.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of brand campaigns, from initial brainstorming and pitching to on-ground execution and final post-evaluation reporting.
- Monitor the P&L alongside the sales team, ensuring that ambitious revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Track competitor activities, regional market trends, and emerging brand solution formats to keep Star Jalsha ahead of the curve.
Performance Measures:
- Achievement of financial and revenue targets
- Percentage of brand campaigns executed perfectly within the agreed timelines
- Feedback scores from clients, brand managers, and media agencies after the campaign is completed and timely delivery of final post-evaluation reports for all executed campaigns
- reach and viewership targets for shows and campaigns
- Successful weaving of brands into shows without causing a drop in viewer ratings or complaints about compromised viewer experience
- Number of new, compelling sponsorship packages or unique brand solution formats developed during the year
- Positive feedback from internal partners (Sales, Programming, Creative, and Research) on teamwork and project management
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Master’s degree or MBA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in brand solutions, content monetization, media planning, or TV marketing.
- Deep understanding of the television broadcasting industry, particularly non-fiction and reality show formats.
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of closing high-value sponsorships.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
