The Executive Producer, National Branded Content is a key member of the centralized branded content team. Drawing on extensive creative expertise and years of content development experience, this role drives the ideation, production, and execution of a diverse slate of content in partnership with brand partners and Learfield schools.
Working closely with Studios team members, sellers and account managers, they develop bespoke video campaigns for clients. Collaborating with the Sr. Director, Branded Content and Production supervisor, they are responsible for creative development of concepts and creative executions. They’ll work closely with Learfield’s over 50 content creators across the nation to bring creative execution to life. This role is vital for executing video campaigns across the 150 school Learfield network
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of custom branded, NIL video and social content with brand partners to hit KPI’s and drive revenue for the national sales teams.
- Pitch creative to clients and internal team members.
- Develop production related materials: creative treatments, production books, production plans for local production teams, scripts, shot lists, camera blocking etc…
- Ability to version out creative documents across the Learfield network as needed.
- Collaborate with property content teams to educate them on creative concepts and ensure they can execute the creative vision.
- Work together with the Production Supervisor for all productions, ensuring timelines, staff efficiency, and workflows operate at peak effectiveness.
- Attend shoots at Learfield Universities/Colleges to assist local teams in production.
- Ability to work remotely with production teams and prepare them for shoots, including: directing from afar, familiarity with production technical specifications etc…
- Serve as primary creative and production point of contact for internal stakeholders and school partners.
- Oversee post-production process on all campaigns, including selecting music tracks, providing/crafting title graphics and aggregating team notes
- Ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality within budget and schedule constraints.
- Lead as the creative and executive producer on all active projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in sports or entertainment creating, writing, producing, and directing video content.
- Hands-on experience shooting, producing, and directing video.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to share strategies with executive leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and overseeing production teams.
- Experience with Airtable is a plus.
- Deep passion for storytelling and social content that drives real fan engagement.
- Prior experience in sports and/or entertainment is required.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse creative and production staff.
- Understanding of original, branded, and NIL content, including how content drives revenue.
- Direct experience with end-to-end content creation pipelines.
- Comprehensive understanding of production equipment, lighting, cameras/lenses, audio, and post-production workflows.
- Ability to write pitches, treatments, and short-form scripts.
- Strong creative ideation skills aligned to project and partner objectives.
- Ability to interpret ideas and guide teams through successful execution.
