Role Overview We are looking for a Brand Content & Social Media Manager to own the full content engine for a fast-growing D2C baby subscription brand. This is not a scheduler or a posting role — we need someone who thinks strategically and executes independently: from concept and creation through to influencer coordination and performance iteration. You will be the creative force behind a brand that connects with real parents, builds genuine community, and drives subscription growth through authentic storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
Produce scroll-stopping short-form video and image content tailored to parents and moms on Instagram
Champion a real, human, non-AI content aesthetic that reflects the brand's warmth and authenticity
Communicate product value through storytelling — not sales-speak
Calendar & Scheduling
Own and manage a full social content calendar end-to-end
Write on-brand captions, select thumbnails, and handle all scheduling and publishing
Maintain brand consistency and posting cadence with minimal oversight
Influencer & UGC Coordination
Proactively source and build relationships with influencers, mom content creators, and UGC contributors
Build and manage a content flywheel so the brand always has a pipeline of fresh, authentic material
Repurpose and organize creator content across Instagram and other channels
Growth & Optimization
Lead Instagram growth through strategic content, engagement, and community building
Track performance and iterate based on what resonates with the target audience
Required Qualifications
Excellent written and spoken English — native or top-tier fluency required
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end social media ownership for consumer brands
Proven ability to produce visually polished, on-brand content well beyond basic design tools
Experience managing influencer or UGC programs independently
Comfortable operating as a one-person content engine: strategy, creation, scheduling, and reporting
Must have prior remote work experience with US or UK-based companies and be fluent in remote collaboration tools (Asana, ClickUp, WhatsApp, Google Workspace, or similar). Applications without this experience will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in baby, parenting, kids, lifestyle, or similarly trust-driven consumer niches
Experience with D2C e-commerce or subscription box brands
Familiarity with the US mom/parent audience tone and sensibility
Comfort appearing on camera for content or candidate video profiles
Tools & Technology
Instagram (primary channel)
Video/content creation tools (beyond Canva — demonstrate what you use)
Project management tools: Asana, ClickUp, or similar
WhatsApp, Google Workspace, and standard async collaboration platforms
