Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history, is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.
We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.
Our vision: well… build the largest financial market on the planet.
Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets.
Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.
As a Markets Editor, you'll own the voice and quality of Kalshi's markets - shaping how tens of thousands of questions about the future are framed, explained, and presented to traders. You'll work at the intersection of language, product, and finance to make sure every market on our platform is clear, credible, and compelling. From crafting airtight rule summaries to collaborating on marquee event experiences, you'll be a core part of how Kalshi communicates with the world through its markets.
Own the editorial quality of market titles, strike prices, propositions, images, and rules - ensuring every market is accurate, clear, and on-brand
Write rule summaries that make complex resolution criteria easy for any trader to understand at a glance
Partner closely with the markets and product teams to develop rich, polished experiences for high-profile and marquee events
Collaborate with product and design to ensure markets content is optimized for the Kalshi apps - from copy length to visual hierarchy
Proactively identify and act on opportunities to improve markets content from a trustworthiness, brand clarity, and user experience standpoint
Build and maintain editorial style guides and content standards that scale as Kalshi's market catalog grows
Serve as the editorial voice in cross-functional reviews, advocating for content quality across the product
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Finance, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in editorial, content, or writing roles - ideally at a financial, news, or consumer product organization
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for clarity, precision, and tone
Ability to translate complex, technical, or financial subject matter into language that's accessible and engaging
Strong product sensibility - you think about how content fits within a UI, not just how it reads in isolation
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage a high volume of markets content across many categories simultaneously
Collaborative and communicative - comfortable working across technical, creative, and business teams
Bonus: Familiarity with prediction markets, derivatives, or financial news
Bonus: Experience working on a fast-moving consumer product or financial platform
Salary Range: $80,000–$130,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
