About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Performance Video Editor & Ad Designer who lives and breathes direct-response
marketing.
Your mission is: conduct deep ad research, take raw assets, UGC, AI generations, and product footage, and engineer them from scratch into high-converting Meta Ads.
You are not just a task executor; you are a creative scientist, you are able to make psychologically engaging, scroll-stopping ads that drive immediate revenue.
You will work closely with our creative strategists to research, create, analyze, iterate, and launch high volumes of winning creatives based on hard data.
Core Responsibilities
1. Elite Ad Research & Creative Analysis
a.Creative Analysis: You are a professional level user of Motion or similar creative analytics tools to
analyze creative performance. You don't wait for media buyers to tell you what's working; you live in
the analytics dashboards and pull your own insights.
b. Metric Based Diagnosis: You possess a senior level understanding of ad data. You know exactly how
to diagnose a failing ad by reading Hook Rate, Hold Rate, Outbound CTR, and CPA, and you know
exactly what visual levers to pull to fix them.
c. Competitive Research: Conduct daily, relentless ad research. You know how to mine the Facebook
Ad Library, TikTok Creative Center, YouTube shorts, and other content sources to spot emerging
trends, winning angles, and pattern-interrupt styles before they peak.
2. High-Volume Direct Response Ad Creation
a.Ad Production: Create cohesive, high-converting static ads & video ads from the ground up using
raw footage, UGC, AI-generated assets, and product B-roll.
b.Mastery Of Hooks: Design scroll-stopping visual and auditory hooks for the critical first 3 seconds of
every ad to maximize thumb-stop ratios.
c.Requirements & Qualifications: Pacing & Retention: Execute aggressive, fast-paced editing styles designed specifically for social
media feeds. You know exactly when a clip lingers too long and how to use punch-ins, B-roll cutaways,
and interesting transitions to keep viewer retention high.
3. Visual & Sound Design
a.Dynamic Typography: Create bold, highly readable, native-looking text overlays and captions that
drive the narrative even when the sound is off.
b.Audio Engineering: Apply high-impact sound design (whooshes, pops, risers) and mix AI voiceovers
(ElevenLabs) with background tracks to elevate the production value and drive emotional
engagement.
4. Rapid Iteration & Data-Driven Adjustments
a.Iterations: Take baseline winning ads and rapidly produce iterations/variations (testing new hooks,
new CTAs, different voiceovers, or pacing changes) to combat ad fatigue and scale spend.
b. Surgical Fixes: Use your Motion data insights to execute immediate, surgical creative solutions to fix
drop-off points mid-funnel.
5. Asset Utilization
a. Seamlessly utilize the modular templates, 3D anatomical animations, and asset libraries built by our
Systems Architects to maintain brand consistency while creating at maximum speed.
