What You're Walking Into
Right now, this is two residential construction companies on Long Island that need someone who actually knows what they're doing in search. Rapid Roofing and BOSS Decks are generating real revenue, running on real systems, and growing — but organic search hasn't been built the way it should be. That's the starting point, and we're not going to dress it up.
What this becomes over the next ten years is a different conversation. The plan is a multi-brand home services platform — more companies, more markets, more brands running on shared infrastructure. That means one SEO function growing into something significant: multi-brand strategy, multiple service lines, an internal marketing operation that eventually serves brands beyond our own. The person who builds this from the ground up is the person who owns it as it scales.
If you want to be embedded in something that's worth building — and you're willing to start where it actually is — there's a real runway here.
The Role
You own organic search. Full stop.
That means rankings, traffic, leads, and the kind of AI and LLM visibility that makes Rapid the name that comes up when a homeowner starts asking questions — on Google, on ChatGPT, on whatever comes next.
You build the strategy. You execute it. You report on it clearly. And you're accountable for what the numbers say.
No one will be handing you a task list or standing over your shoulder. If that's what you need to perform, this isn't the right seat. But if you're the type who looks at a search landscape, sees the gap between where a company sits and where it should be, and genuinely gets fired up about closing it — read on.
What Winning Looks Like
After 90 days, if you're doing this right:
You'll have direct impact on how much revenue this company generates through inbound. That's the job.
Who We're Looking For
This is not a project. It's not a contract. It's not a gig with a defined end date.
We're looking for someone who wants to join a company, embed themselves in the team, and grow with it over the long haul. Someone who gets invested in what they're building — not just delivering work product and moving on.
If you're an agency, a freelancer looking for another client to add to the roster, or someone who thrives on variety and bouncing between accounts — this isn't the right fit. No judgment, just not what this is.
The right person wants roots somewhere. They want to watch something grow and know they built it. They want to be the person leadership calls when the next brand launches because they already know the playbook inside and out.
That's who this is for.
