Madhive is looking for a detail-oriented, fast-moving SEM Copywriter to join our growing creative team. In this role, you will write high-quality Search Engine Marketing (SEM) ads for small and local businesses across the United States and Canada, working in close partnership with leading media companies.

You’ll use a combination of strong natural writing skills and Madhive’s proprietary AI-powered SEM tool to produce ad copy at scale. Our AI tool accelerates the creation process, while your expertise ensures accuracy, clarity, and strong advertising standards through careful editing, fact-checking, and refinement.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and takes pride in delivering polished, compliant, and effective advertising copy.

What You Will Do

• Write and edit SEM ad copy using Madhive’s proprietary AI SEM tool

• Create complete SEM campaigns, including:

  • Responsive Search Ads (RSAs)

  • Callouts

  • Structured Snippets

  • Sitelinks

• Research and fact-check business information using client websites, Yelp, and other trusted sources

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality control across all ads

• Maintain consistent advertising and brand standards at a fast pace

• Complete approximately 6–10 SEM campaigns per day while maintaining high quality

• Collaborate with internal team members to meet daily production deadlines

• Support continuous improvement of copy quality and workflow efficiency

• You are dependable, organized, and comfortable with repetitive production work at scale

• You are open to learning new tools, workflows, and advertising best practices
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field

• Strong English writing and editing skills

• Experience or demonstrated proficiency in advertising or marketing copy

• Ability to research unfamiliar businesses quickly and accurately

• Comfort working in a high-volume production environment

• Willingness to work a swing shift aligned with North American time zones
  

  Nice to Have

• Google Ads Certification

• Familiarity with local or small business advertising

• SEO or keyword research experience

• Experience working with AI-assisted writing tools

• Prior quality assurance or editorial review experience
