Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and creative Digital Marketing Assistant with strong experience in SEO, social media content creation, and marketing design. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing engaging digital content across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and website blogs, while also supporting the creation and redesign of marketing materials.
This role requires someone with both analytical marketing expertise and creative design skills, as well as hands-on experience with HubSpot for marketing automation and campaign management.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging social media content for platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Write and publish SEO-optimised blog posts and website content to improve search visibility and drive traffic.
- Manage and support digital marketing campaigns using HubSpot, including email campaigns, landing pages, and performance tracking.
- Design digital and print marketing materials including flyers, social graphics, and promotional assets.
- Redesign and update existing marketing collateral to maintain brand consistency and improve visual impact.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance and social media analytics, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing content aligns with business objectives and brand guidelines.
- Support website updates and content management as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in digital marketing, ideally in a similar assistant or coordinator role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimisation.
- Demonstrable experience managing Instagram and LinkedIn business accounts.
- Experience writing marketing blogs and website content.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot (marketing automation, email marketing, reporting).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or Canva for marketing asset creation.
- Ability to design both digital and print marketing materials (flyers, graphics, social assets).
- Strong written communication and content creation skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Desirable Skills
- Previous marketing experience within the medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sector is highly desirable, though not required.
- Experience with content planning tools or social media schedulers.
- Basic understanding of website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar).
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices.
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics and performance reporting.
